Amply is an official training partner with the North American Technician Excellence and the Building Performance Institute

We're excited to announce that Amply is now an official North American Technician Excellence (NATE) and Building Performance Institute (BPI) training partner.

Amply is delighted to announce it has been approved by both North American Technician Excellence (NATE) and the Building Performance Institute (BPI) as certified trainers. Approved Amply trainings will now qualify for CEUs (Continuing Education Units).

Furthering and advancing the HVAC and electrification industries has always been a core part of Amply’s mission and vision. Amply has benefited from the openness of experts in the field and a desire to learn has always been a core part of our culture. That’s why we started the Heat Pump Podcast. As our own knowledge and proficiency grew, we felt compelled to pass that on to the industry.

We have been doing trainings at local, regional, and national events ever since we established our credentials in the ACCA-approved Manual J load calculation tool. One of the most common questions we get from those trainings is, “Do Amply trainings count for CEUs?” The answer is now a strong yes. This means Amply trainings provide not just the content knowledge but also the hours our friends and customers need to maintain their valuable NATE and BPI credentials.

About NATE

Founded in 1997, North American Technician Excellence (NATE) is the nation’s largest nonprofit certification organization for heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration technicians. Its certification exams are developed by a nationwide committee of industry experts and test the real-world knowledge technicians use on the job. For contractors, NATE certification shows that a technician has the proven knowledge to do the job right the first time. For homeowners, it means better installation and service, longer equipment life, and greater energy efficiency.

About BPI

The Building Performance Institute (BPI) is a nonprofit founded in 1993 that develops standards and credentials for the home performance industry. Its mission is to provide quality standards and credentials for evaluating and upgrading the performance of homes. BPI is accredited by the American National Standards Institute and works to build a skilled workforce that makes homes safer, healthier, more resilient, and more efficient.
